Patti Racina PTA, LMT, MMP is a native Tucsonan. She attended the 1200 hour Zen Shiatsu Practitioner and Massage Therapy program at Providence Institute in 2001 and became a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in 2002. During her initial career she became certified as a Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP) as she went back to finish up her B.S. in Physiological Sciences from the University of Arizona in 2007. It was during that time that Patti suffered a back injury, and really grew a passion for physical therapy. She worked as an exercise technician part time as well as continuing to work as an LMT, but wanted to do more in physical therapy. So Patti went back to school again, this time to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and became certified in 2015. A lifelong learner, Patti has continued to take additional continuing education for both fields including kinesiotaping, sports massage, orthopedic massage, muscle energy techniques, as well as the LSVT BIG program for Parkinsons. She is passionate about helping people from everyday aches and pains to those with chronic conditions improve their ability to move better.
